RC Drifting: A new adventure awaits

For several weeks now, I’ve been been very eager to try out RC Drifting. Though I’m not entirely new to drifting per se as I’ve had experience with drifting in simulation games like rFactor and Assetto Corsa, I’m totally new to the RC world.

I’ve heard and saw some videos years back on RC Drifting but wasn’t really excited or interested about it because for me, it didn’t seem quite like drifting that I was used to in rFactor or Assetto Corsa. The reason for this was that RC cars before were all AWDs or all-wheel-drive cars. But now, there are several dedicated RWD kits available on the market that, for me, is something that I can really appreciate.

Take the following video for example:

This was the video where I said to myself, ‘I gotta get me one of these’. From then on, I think I’ve watched most youtube videos for the Sakura D4 RWD, which is the kit I’m interested in purchasing.

So after weeks of nights where I can only dream of RC Drifting, the time has come where I can finally try it out myself, and I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy it. The Sakura D4 RWD kit that I purchased from rcMart finally arrived, along with the parts needed to run the 1/10 scale drift car.

MG Aile Strike Gundam ver. RM (GAT-X105)

Here’s one of my first Master Grade kits I bought since I started with gunpla building, the MG Aile Strike Gundam ver. RM from the Gundam Seed series. This is the first kit that I’ve actually completed. By completed, I mean that I’ve added the stickers and decals, panel lining, and applied a clear paint for protection.

The detail on this kit definitely raised my expectations on future MG kits that I will be purchasing. I’m hoping I’d be able to collect the other kits from the same series.
